How it all started...
The Spoken Word Christian Church was birthed into existence by God in the summer of 2008 in an empty lease space in Laguna Hills, California. We were just a few people (13 in all) who loved God and had a deep desire to worship Him together. I'll never forget that first Sunday when we met together. The only things we had were our beach chairs, our Bibles and our faith. Over the years, God has been incredibly gracious to our little church, providing for us every step of the way on this journey.
