This past week our nation had the opportunity to watch the Tampa Buccaneers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in the Superbowl. Win or lose, what an experience it must have been for those that were playing in that game. We live in a society today that demands immediate results, no matter what we are doing. If we call someone, we expect a phone call right back. We expect to get what we want immediately, and if we don’t, we move on to the next thing we can get immediately. This may be what our attitude has become in society, but it doesn’t make for an effective and healthy prayer life.
