Thursday Morning Prayer

As a church, we believe in the power of prayer (see Bible verses below). One Friday evening each month we set a special time aside to meet and pray as a congregation. No one is forced to pray out loud if they are not comfortable with it. But, we do encourage believers to at least show-up and pray silently in agreement (” … where two or three gather together in my name …” Matt 18:20).

Come and join us as we pray together for each other, our church, our community, and our nation. We look forward to seeing you.

Scripture on Prayer

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (Jas 5:16)

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” (Jas 5:16)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil 4:6)
